The new community building is now open and comprises a main hall that can easily accommodate 100 people with a wood floor and an excellent fully fitted kitchen. A small office room is also available for hire by special arrangement.

The facilities are ideal for private functions such as birthday and anniversary parties, wedding and funeral receptions, public meetings and regular activity sessions. There is a good sized car park.

A full Premises Licence has been obtained from the Local Authority.

Cost of hiring is;

£10 per hour for block bookings

£12.50 per hour - daytime

£15 per hour - evening

A grant of £7,734 has been received form the Big Lottery Fund to support the furnishing and equipping of the new community hall.
