Forthcoming Road Closure
The Parish Council have been informed by DMBC that there will be a temporary road closure between Kilham Lane and Whiphill Top Lane some time between 1st May and 31st August 2022. Please see the notice here for information.
Travelmaster - Price Increases
Price changes which TravelMaster are planning to implement from Tuesday 1 March 2022.
Who is TravelMaster?
TravelMaster is a commercial organisation, owned and operated by the region's transport companies. The region's transport companies work together through TravelMaster to deliver integrated, multi-operator travel tickets. TravelMaster is independent of any single operator and is not part of any public sector body. More information about TravelMaster’s governance: https://www.sytravelmaster.com/about.
What are the changes?
From Tuesday 1 March, TravelMaster is applying an approximate 5% price rise to their range of products.
How are these changes being communicated to customers?
The new prices will be introduced from Tuesday 1 March 2022. TravelMaster will be ensuring customers are informed of the price changes and available methods of purchase. A news article will be published on sytravelmaster.com, posters and pricing leaflets distributed for on-board display alongside notices at Ticket Vending Machines.
TravelMaster will also be publishing posts online via Facebook and Twitter to advise customers of the change in pricing.

You can use their site to find things to do for you and your family, locate vital council services, or report any issues or problems directly to them. There is a lot of information for residents on what Mayor and the Cabinet do for the benefit of Finningley Ward and Doncaster.

DMBC notifies the Parish Council about Planning Applications relating to developments in the Cantley with Branton Parish and, if appropriate, the surrounding area. Brief details are included on the Agenda for Parish Council meetings.
Full details of Applications can be found on the DMBC 'Public Access' Planning website by using this link. To view the details of an application you will need to enter the application number eg. 12/34567/FUL in the 'Application Reference' box. Application numbers can be found on Parish Council Agendas and Minutes. When you have found the application in which you are interested you will be able to view various details, make comments during the consultation period and view comments submitted by others.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport has occasional Pilot Training Flights throughout the year. These Training Flights use the runway to practice landings and take offs.
The Pilot Training Flights are usually held on quiet periods for the Airport and can be ad hoc throughout the year. These flights usually involve multiple take offs and landing over the course of a morning or afternoon.
Airport Noise Complaints
Doncaster Sheffield Airport acknowledges that noise remains the impact of greatest concern for local residents. In response, the airport has developed a Public Noise Complaints procedure as approved by the Local Planning Authority to monitor, investigate and report each complaint made by members of the public.
